Dit, lieve vrienden, is hoe een kroeg in Oost moet zijn. Mooi bier, goeie koffie, verrassend fris. Met liefde bereide snacks. Pracht mensen voor en achter de bar. Heb je hier op vrijdagmiddag nog nooit gehaktballen met een Thai Thai of Gajes gehad, dan kan je leven niet compleet zijn.

A chill neighborhood bar in Amsterdam Oost, Bar Joost has one of the best local beer lists in Amsterdam. You’ll find beers from Butcher’s Tears, Two Chefs Brewing, Bruut, Walhalla and Oedipus Brewing among others. They have quite a few bottles and a changing selection on the tap. If you’re not in the mood for beer, Joost also makes a mighty fine G&T and they have wine too. Of course like any nice neighborhood bar they also have snacks including sausage and cheese. The staff and patrons are super friendly. Stop by and taste the newest local brews.
Awesome amsterdam
Just take a look at the beer list on the wall, it’s nothing to sneeze at. Actually among the best in town, and I’m including the heavy hitters here. Vibe is 10/10, rustig in the week and Sunday mornings, or lekker bezig on Saturdays.
